Willowdale #1 is in the books, y’all! Thanks to everyone who came out and helped bring this magical idea to life. We could feel the ghost of the Grange stompin’ their boots! Co-founder, Andy Mann delivered his engaging presentation about this work for National Geographic titled “Summits to Sea” and put us all on the edge of our seats. Co-founder, Nick Dunbar, had the place grooving deep into the night with his folk/swing band 300 days. No words you guys. We love this town and this community. We closed it all down with a round at the Niwot Tavern. Thanks to the Lefthand Courier for helping us spread the gospel and to Wise Buys for helping us decorate the place. And to all the volunteers and attendees for helping us set up and break down.
Our little house, Lefthand Grange No 9 was founded in 1874 as a roots movement in agricultural tradition, country lifestyle and community spirit. We hope Willowdale can help preserve these traditions by shaping the space in new creative ways and cultivate a new era of storytelling. #rootsrundeep
