Pete and Joan
You know that feeling when you show up to your childhood home or maybe a relatives for dinner? A place where you know where everything is and it’s just how you remembered it? This is the feeling that Joan and Pete brought to Willowdale #4. It was as if we were sitting at the dinner table watching them poke and prod and torment each other in a way that was so honest and so loving. They played new songs they have never played as well as old ones they could barely remember. The banter and the charm that they brought to Grange was so honest and was exactly what we were hoping for. A place where people let loose, tell us stories and have fun! Pete said he had played more shows at the Grange in Niwot than anywhere else as it was a launching point for Hot Rize. Such an honor to have them both!
